Dinnertime is such an adventure at our house. I let the babies sit in regular chairs while I was cleaing their booster seats and of course they took advantage of it. So now they're back in their booster seats, but it really doesn't matter because they can climb right out of the straps now, but it keeps them contained for about 5 minutes and then its craziness again. I'm never sure how much food actually makes it into their mouths because I swear I sweep up everything I put on their plates!
This is the beginning of the meal
Paige trying to steal Derek's food
Kevin saw that and of course tried to steal her food

Paige now has longer hair than the boys!
I gave Derek a hair cut the other day that didn't turn out that great. It needed to be fixed a bit. So, yesterday I came home from work to find that Tad shaved both Derek and Kevin's heads! I wasn't too happy about that one!
Work is going great for me. I stay busy all day for sure! I've been taking five patients on my own for a few days and it can be kind of crazy.... In between giving everyone their medications all day long, I deal with patients returning from surgery barely breathing, removing IV's and drains coming out of all different spots on the body, having doctors get mad on the phone, family members mad in person, and when you finally take a minute in the middle of the chaos to sit down and eat, another patient starts complaining of chest pain! An EKG and a little adrenaline rush later when the patient is fine, you realize you're way behind on all of the day's documentation and haven't eaten lunch! But then it's time to give out the afternoon meds and you just hope you catch up before the night shift begins trickling in... But so far, I love it!
Here's my newly replanted garden. We didn't so so well the last few months with it - although my lettuce did good - hopefully we'll do better with the warm weather plants!

No more cribs!!!
No more cribs!! This will be Paige & Kevin's 3rd night in toddler beds. So far they've done great.... They stay in their beds, and in the morning they stay in their beds until we open their door. Tonight they've been talking for over an hour, but they're still in their beds. And they've been sleeping in a bit too, thank goodness! Lately Paige will sleep until 7:30, Kevin sometimes after 8:00. So finally at 20 months (Friday) we're getting to sleep in in the mornings!

Our latest house project
After living in our house for 3 years, we've finally decided to redo our outdated master bathroom. Here's some photos of our progress so far. I think we'll be down to 1 bathroom for a few months since we'll be doing the work ourselves and since we have no clue what we're doing!
Paige & Kevin have been pretty good about staying out of the way.... they would rather read!
