Watch out for Craigslist!
I went to someone's house today to look at a carseat/stroller and it was a little freaky! It was a really nice fancy house in a gated community. I left the car running with Kevin and Darci inside and knocked on the door. When he came to the door he said I should bring the kids in because the items were downstairs for me to look at. I thought, what? Are you crazy? Tad and I just watched an old Keifer Sutherland movie about his girlfriend vanishing and it flashed through my head. I backed up a bit and told him I would wait outside for him to bring the stroller out to me. It's scary that people do that and even scarier that someone would go downstairs with him!

Meal Time Savers
I found the following blog today and am hoping to use it to save some time with dinner. There's a ton of crockpot recipes there that look really good. The blogger cooked out of her crockpot for a year and all of the recipes I saw had pictures of the finished product which helps to see if it looks appetizing. I'm going to cook a few of them this week and see how they turn out!

Also, can't help it, here's Darci sleeping today... She looks so peaceful now, but last night was another story. She was awake a lot! I've been supplementing her feedings with a bit of formula and at one point I didn't have the lid on all the way and dumped cold formula all over her and me! Not very fun at 3:00am!
Yesterday I had Darci and Kevin to myself - my mom took Paige for the day and night because Tad was out of town. He was so good, he just played with his trains all day. At one point he lined them all up on their tracks and I asked him what he was making and he said he was making a "boat parade". Then he pushed them all onto the wood and told me now the boats were in the water.
Last night was Kevin's turn to sleep at my mom's house and so I had Paige. She wasn't quite as quiet at Kevin, but she was still pretty good. This morning I told her I wanted to lay down on the couch and she went and got her blankets and snuggled up to me for a while. Then of course she was off doing a million things.

Darci Sahara
Darci was born Thursday Jan 8th at 1316 pm.....6lbs 10 oz.... 19.5 inches long....
This was the morning of... I was really hoping I wouldn't have to have another C-section, but oh well! We came home from the hospital on Saturday and she's adjusting pretty good. The kids of course are obsessed with her and want to hold her all the time! She's been a pretty good baby so far, we'll see if she stays that way the more she wakes up. Other than the constant up and down, I'm doing alright, just glad to have it over with and be home.
Here are some pictures of her and all of us at the hospital. Click on the pictures to make them bigger.
