We also had another Youth Theatre play in May. It was called the Adventures of Mr Toad. there were 160 kids ages 4-9 in this play. It was crazy and I don't know how the director and staff do it but I'm glad they do because the kids have so much fun being in the play and I have so much fun watching, even when they make all their mistakes and forget their lines.
None of our kids had speaking parts, but they had singing parts and did them well. Kevin and Paige were only on stage for one song. They were ducks. Their costumes were pretty worn out by the 4th night.

Darci had to try on the costume too.
Derek had about 4 scenes that he was in. He was a weasel. He thought it was cool because he got to use a sword in a fight scene.
This was Derek fighting a horse. They were funny, they just stood there and knocked their swords back and forth a few times while giggling.
Derek likes to take pictures with my camera. Isn't he cool...
So far my plot in my father-in-law's garden has yielded several green bell peppers and two red tomatoes.
Darci likes to be silly too.
