Irrigation Fun
The last couple of months we've had irrigation, it's been the middle of the night, so we haven't been able to go out and play. Today was perfect because Tad was sleeping so it gave us something to do outside of the house. Click on the pictures to make them bigger.

17 Weeks 2 days
Well, I wouldn't say that I've really felt the baby move that much yet... just little flutters here and there, but very infrequent. I had a doctors appointment today and when the lady pressed on my stomach to hear the baby's heart beat, the little thing moved from one end of my stomach to the other and you could see it through my stomach! I was a little surprised at how big it felt. Hopefully we'll find out next tuesday what it is.....

4th of July
We went down to Thatcher for the 4th of July and am finally getting around to posting some pictures. My sister, her husband and their kids came down with us.
Here is the HUGE parade that starts at 5:30AM, yes I said AM. The fire trucks go around town blaring their sirens until everyone is awake.
Everyone in town that has a 4-wheeler rides in the parade. It's basically fire trucks, 4-wheelers, rangers, and bikes. Everyone is in the parade, so there's not too may people on the sides of the streets watching.
My niece, Maya got to ride in the fire truck (she's in the white shirt).
Derek and his cousin, Jack, rode their bikes in the parade.

Have you ever wondered what your child was thinking?
I always used to say to myself, if only I could know what they're thinking... Well, now that Derek is 4, he's been able to communicate his dreams and thoughts better. So we were driving somewhere the other day and he told me that he dreamed that we were all at a volcano and I jumped into the hot lava and Tad, him and Paige & Kevin watched me. I asked what happened to me and he said that I died. I asked him if he was sad and he said no, "I was happy! " Then a few minutes later he said that he was sad.
Yesterday we went to my sisters house and the kids were all playing upstairs and someone turned on Jurassic Park 3. Jurassic park scares the crap out of me, I can only imagine what kids are thinking when they're watching it. We usually don't let Derek watch scary movies. Well, he saw part of it, I'm not even sure what part, but he did tell me there was an airplane crash and some big dinosaur ate someone. On the way home, he told us that "his heart was telling him that dinosaurs are real". I asked him if he meant that his heart was beating really fast while he was watching the movie? He said it was. He must've been terrified. He said that it wasn't really scary, just a little scary.
And today we were driving and he told me that his legs were fat. I asked him what he meant and he said all the food he ate was stuck in his legs and then he said just kidding, it's stuck in his tummy.

And now the crabbiness begins...
Tad is working nights again. Need I say more? No sleep, loud house, loud kids. I think I can expect a lot of crabbiness from him for the next year......
