Rio Grande Nature Center

The Rio Grande is dotted with nature trails and visitor centers and wildlife. There's about 30 miles of bike trail that run parallel to the river. About halfway in between was this Rio Grande Nature Center. There's trails and and desert gardens and an underground visitors center. It was a nice little place to go, but a little warm, so we'll be checking this one out again in a few months.

We had our home inspection on the house yesterday. All in all it looks good... just need to do a little repair to the shingle room, but nothing major. Appraisal is done. Should be ready to close now but with all the paperwork required by the government (do we really want them involved in our healthcare??) it probably wont be until the 24th when we can close.

Met Derek's Kindergarten teacher today. He's getting pretty excited to go back to school. He doesn't start until the 24th, so we've still got a while. He's fine with doing Kindergarten again. I told him that everyone that is 6 gets to go to first grade, but everyone that is still 5 has to do Kindergarten again.
