Snow in Thatcher and visit from cousins

My mom brought my sister's kids to visit a few days after Christmas. For a few days the weather turned cold - 17 degree nights - and we got a little bit of snow in Thatcher. Not enough to stick on the ground, but enough to have fun in. This video was on Dec 30th.

We drove up on Mt Graham hoping to play, but they had the gates closed off because they hadn't been snow plowed yet, so we had to just pull off the side of the road somewhere. Unfortunately it was VERY windy that day, so it felt closer to ZERO with the wind chill.

Almost as soon as they got out of the van, they got back in because the wind was so intense.

Vinyl lettering for the door

It was a lot of fun for the kids to have their cousins come visit (hint, hint)

And of course, they had to ride Grandpa's train, which was just painted by Uncle Brad.

We also had fun with our other cousins, Max, Maya and Cooper who came over to play while they were visiting Nana and Grandpa. They loved riding on Grandpa's train also!! We also enjoyed seeing Jake and Garrett who are getting so BIG!! We're glad that we're back in AZ and the kids can see all of their cousins more often.

I love the bags on their feet. We used to use socks for mittens--or nothing and face the consequences. Loved the lettering on the door too!
