Derek was so excited to go to Kindergarten yesterday. He looked so cute and so grown up. He's in all day Kindergarten. He said he had a lot of fun, read stories, got to eat in the big cafeteria, and play on the big playground.
We walked him to school yesterday, but we'll be driving from now on until it cools off. Even though the school is right behind our house, his class is at the very end of the school and it's just too hot to walk with the babies too.
This is his class. The campus is really nice. It's a bunch of cottages surrounded by grass, trees, and picnic benches.
This is his friend Brinkley from church. There's 4 or 5 kindergarten classes, so I was so happy that they were able to get in the same class.
This was their schedule for the first day.
Their teacher gave them time to color while all the parents said bye.
Paige thought she was going to school too... She and Kevin missed Derek while he was gone.

I am SOOOOO happy that All Day Kindergarten is at the school now! Jackson goes next year!! YEAH! He looked like he had a lot of fun when I talked to him!
How exciting for Derek! I can't believe he's already in kindergarten! You were pregnant when Dave and I got married!

Wow, he looks so much older now that he's in kindergaten. Ethan is starting pre-school again, soon.
