Albuquerque's Disneyland

First some other pictures -

The balloon museum here has a storytime every week. Last time we had a tea party there and today the kids made their own hot air balloons and got to see a real hot air balloon in person and feel it.

There was a fly flying around our apartment yesterday and Derek built a fly trap out of his trains and wrote down "Fly House for every fly". Yes, that's what it says.

Cliff's -
We went to a place called Cliff's Amusement Park last weekend. It has a lot of old school rides for adults, a wooden roller coaster, and a bunch of fun little rides for the kids. Kevin was actually brave enough to go on a few. Derek did the big log ride with Tad and Paige wanted to ride EVERY ride in the place and cried when we told her she couldn't.

Derek went on the log ride with Tad. All of them loved the swing ride. Even Kevin wanted to do it again.

We're waiting for Derek and Tad to finish the log ride. It was such a nice night to be out.

Derek was probably more scared of this ride than Paige was.

Kevin saw this Dog ride on the internet and said he wanted to do it, but when we got there he wasn't too sure! He ended up having fun. It's nice that Derek is old enough to go on the rides with them. Darci did great there. She stayed awake the entire time and finally fell asleep at about 9pm for about 20 minutes and wasn't fussy at all.

Derek had a hard time figuring out the bumper cars at first and finally got the hang of it when the ride was nearly done. Thanks Tad for cutting off my head!
